Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Treatment that targets emotional ups and downs as well as trauma symptoms. Our unresolved can trauma cause us to react in extreme ways, especially toward friends, family, and romantic partners. We will teach you practical skills and provide coping mechanisms to help you with intense surges of emotion. Helps you identify your strengths and builds on them so that you begin to feel more confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth, building on distress tolerance and reality acceptance, emotion regulation, and mindfulness.
